Our Story

We have now been operating the Kennels and Cattery for 8 years.

Lisa has been a full time dog trainer and behaviour consultant for All Paws Forward for the past 20 years where she has worked with many varieties of dog with a wide range of behaviour issues, and has assisted owners with the training of assistance dogs. She has also been a teacher and mentor for many people wanting a career in dog training. Over the past 30 years she and Ross have also bred companion dogs, and many have gone on to become seeing eye dogs.

Ross has worked for the past 10 years as a part time dog trainer while building fire trucks as his full time job for 25 years. He makes a great handy man around the kennels and is continuously working on improvements.

Joel has had to endure being raised with animals all his life and his love for them is without question. While he started out his career in IT the move to ararat with his young family to work with animals was without hesitation. He also comes in very handy when we have technical issues in the office.
